Pacifica Good Karma Skincare Set

Remember the Pacifica eyesahdow palette I got? The one that I reviewed and that I didn't like .... ?

Well, I saw their other products in Target today and I saw a BB Cream (one shade only), a face wash, a face cream, and two eye shadow singles. They have different sets with a mix of those items.

I got the Good Karma Skincare Set. This set comes with the BB Cream, the face wash, the face cream, and the guava lip balm. This set was 18 bucks. A little pricey for mini sized products but considering that the full sized products are about 20 bucks a piece, I thought this was a good investment. Afterall, I did want to try everything first.

Now, I know that I just purchased these today so it's not really fair to make a quick review but I can give everyone a first glance at these products.

The face wash is supposed to remove makeup and it's for all skin types. It's clear and it smells like coconut. I like this face wash. It's does clean off my makeup but the full size is so expensive. I doubt I'd purchase the full size.

The lip balm kinda has a sheer tint to it and a fruity smell. It's moisturizing but it doesn't last long on my lips. It's a decent balm but nothing earth shattering.

The BB Cream had to be the most disappointing of them all. I was super excited to try it. There is only one shade. The shade is so dark and it comes off orange on my skin. Not to mention that it doesn't blend well at all. My face looked so orange and there was ZERO coverage. I hated this product. It's absolute garbage.

The best product in this whole kit was the Day/Night cream. It's for all skin types and I have pretty oily skin. This wasn't greasy at all. It is lightweight and moisturizing. I love this face cream. As far as what it does for my skin - I can't say because I haven't used it more than once. BUT so far, it's a nice moisturizer. :)

Is it worth getting this kit? I mean, if you wanna try the products go ahead but honestly, don't waste your time. The day/night cream is more worth the 20 bucks than anything else in that kit.

Hard Candy All Glossed Up

I'm going to make this post short ... sweet ... and to the point.

THIS JUMBO LIP PENCIL IS AMAZZZZZZZZZING!!!!!!

I love this color (Cupcake) and I love how it feels great on my lips. I love everything about it. I don't have to sharpen it and it's only 5 bucks. Totally worth it.

There are so many gorgeous shades and I can't wait to get my hands on more of them!

You gotta have these!!!

Khroma Beauty Joystick in Babydoll

Ah the Kardashians ... I can't stand them and yet I still purchased something from their makeup line. But hey, that's how deep my addiction is for makeup. ;)

Anywho .... I have purchased the mascara set, one of the Kardazzle palettes, and that nasty nude lip set. I say the nude lip set is nasty because the scent of that gloss is unbearable.

My CVS recently put up a whole new display filled with Khroma products and I saw these joysticks. They're pretty much lipsticks but it's a lightweight formula. I got the shade in Babydoll though I really wanted the Coral and Mauve shade.

The formula is lightweight as I've said and while it isn't that moisturizing - it's just not too drying. So it's a decent formula. The lip color is gorgeous and pigmented. But what made me frown the most was the price. $9.79 for this lip color???? Really?? Well, I used my $5 Bonus Bucks from CVS to get this because paying full price for a product that is new to me isn't really worth it.

I would say this was worth my $4.79 ...  but it isn't a must have product.

Hard Candy Cream Eyeshadows Spring 2013

I have been a bit MIA as I have just gotten a new job. So I'm unsure how often I will be posting but I will do my best!

My WNW Spring 2013 posting raked in over 3,000 views! I'm so happy that people got the chance to check out these eyeshadows on my blog. Thank you to everyone who stops by my page .. it means a lot to me.

My Walmart revamped the Hard Candy display and added the new stuff from the Spring 2013 collection. I am going to be reviewing these cream shadows first. Of course I got the two neutral toned shades.

The brown shade is called Quick Sand and then the other shade is like a platinum color and it's called Stepping Stones. I applied these shadows to my lids without a primer so I can see the staying power and whether or not it creases.

These cream shadows are pigmented and are easy to apply. I really like them. These shadows stayed put for hours and it didn't even crease - BUT I don't have oily lids like some people may have. There are a variety of colors that these shadows come in like yellow, blue, fuscia, white, etc.

Here are the pics:

Pacifica Natural Minerals Eye Shadows

I went to Target today and stumbled upon a Pacifica eyeshadow palette. I’ve tried one thing from Pacifica in the past and that was their Blood Orange Solid Perfume - I really like the smell of it.
I was surprised to see an eyeshadow palette. The colors looked really nice and would be the perfect combination for a spring/summer look.
I was a bit hesitant from the $12 price tag only because I am unsure of the quality but I went for it.
I honestly regret that I did. I swatched these and they looked great on my hand. However applying them to my eyelid was a hassle. There was a lot of fall out, the pigmentation lacked, and the look just fell flat. :( BOO!!!
If you see this at Target - steer clear of them.

New Wet N Wild Spring 2013 Eyeshadow Palettes

It’s a rainy day in Jersey and I went to Harmon to shop around. I stumbled upon these new Wet N Wild Limited Edition palettes. I was super excited!!!! I didn’t know there was a new collection coming out.
There are two palettes in the collection called “Nude Awakening” and “Going in the wild”
Everyone knows how great WNW eyeshadows are so let’s just get down to the pictures!

Aren’t these two palettes GORGEOUS?!?!?!
Now I have swatches below. Some colors didn’t really appear because those specific colors were not that pigmented.
As always these palettes are pigmented and GORGEOUS!! :)
SO what does everyone think of these swatches?

Jordana Pressed Powder

I was at KMart the other day and they had a buy one get one 50% off sale on Jordana cosmetics. I've had a few Jordana items. I love their lip pot duo ... they're so awesome. I'll probably review them in the future.
I was curious about their pressed powder. It was only 4 bucks so I decided I'd give it a try. I actually think this is a decent powder. I used a moisturizer and then put the powder on ... and I have to say it covered up my acne scars pretty good.
I also use it as a setting powder. And it works great.
The bad thing about this powder? I don't like the smell of it. It smells like an old perfume or something. The only powder that I like that has a fragrance is Lancome's powder.
Anyway, should you pick this up? If you're on a budget this is a pretty decent pick but I think I'd rather shell out a few extra bucks and get a different powder. Or maybe get the Wet N Wild powder.
